The Lake Has Ice

Morning; 18 degrees and calm. From what I can see from the hill Moosehead has ice, by no means is it safe. The key is if it will hold through the warm, windy and rainy Sunday. Groomers are going out, water holes are freezing and maybe a snow storm the middle of next week. Keep your fingers crossed…Brad

Not Safe

Morning; 24 degrees. The lower half of the lake has froze over (NOT SAFE TO GO ON), the upper half is trying to freeze right now. Other lakes in the area have ice but are not safe to go on either. We have one groomer out to the Demo yard to groom the road trails West of the water hole. We could use some more snow but things are getting better. THINK SNOW . . . Brad

Groomer Out

Good Morning! 27 degrees with snow flurries. The groomer is back in town! Thanks to all the help and long hours that were put in. Some work still needs to be done before it is back on the trail again. As everyone knows, who has been out on the trails, we need some cold weather to stiffen up the wet holes. Thanks again to all who helped on the groomer . . . Brad

Groomer

Good Morning! 23 degrees. The crew worked all day yesterday on the groomer, and it’s up in the air now. The track is being repaired in the garage this morning. Hopefully it will be out by the end of the day. Were still dealing with a lot of water on the woods trails. Cold weather is on the way and should help to seal them up. Be careful and have a great day . . . Brad

Happy New Year

Morning; 24 degrees. Crew just left to get the groomer out, the broken track made it back to the garage yesterday. The trails on the old roads are holding up good but where they go through the woods there is still a lot of water and mud holes. We need some cold weather to stiffen everything up. Jackman, Parlin and Pittston have all been out. Think cold . .. Brad

Clean Up Time

Morning: 14 degrees and white. We got 9 to 10 inches of new snow and that gives us a total of nearly 20 inches of the white stuff on the ground. On an other note, we have a groomer stuck on Rt. 66 in a muddy wet hole. A crew is being put together for Friday to get it out. Where the ground was not froze before the snow there are wet and mud holes so be careful . . . Brad
